Lacquer brooches with animals

These flower painting brooches are painted on papier-mache base with tempera paints. Size of each brooch is about 2" in diameter if a brooch has round shape and about 2x1 1/3" for oval brooches. Each brooch has safe pin (look at this picture). Brooches are finished with some layers of special lacquer that is used for finishing of lacquer boxes.
